Meet The QWC Management
John Neppel
Managing Director, Principal From starting at the Chicago Board of Trade in 1991 to gaining hands-on experience within the financial advising and management landscape over the course of 35 years, John has dedicated much of his career to service those looking for efficiency. As the Principal and Managing Partner for Quincy Wells Capital, John oversees the broker-dealer and all aspects of its operations. He leads the subsidiary while directing overall visions for the rest of the Quincy Wells companies. Prior to embarking on his journey in the selection of alternative investment strategies, John earned his BA in Economics from the University of Iowa. In his off time, John is either shooting hoops in a local basketball court or reading about late 19th-century economics.
Jim Lynch
Director of Sales, PrincipalA nationally recognized industry leader, Jim has over three decades of experience in building, regulating, and recruiting in the financial services community as an advisor and manager. The latter half of his career has been focused on the independent space, where he assists advisors, representatives, and firms in navigating industry challenges. At Quincy Wells, Jim’s primary focus is on principal activities in the broker-dealer, employing a pragmatic, systemized approach to business planning, and recruiting new advisors to the firm while offering guidance to our current advisor group.

DUE DILIGENCE
Janessa Carrillo
Senior AnalystJanessa initially joined Great Point Capital (the firm’s predecessor) as an intern in 2022. Since our transition to Quincy Wells Capital in early 2026, she has served as a Senior Due Diligence Analyst. She is responsible for leading the evaluation, analysis, and ongoing monitoring of the alternative investment offerings on the firm’s platform. She performs comprehensive operational, financial, and risk reviews. Additionally, she works closely with advisors, sponsors, and internal stakeholders to support and enhance the firm’s investment platform. Janessa holds a BA in Economics from Loyola University Chicago.
Fiona Bartholomew
After joining our team as an intern in June 2023, Fiona has since established herself in the Investment Analyst role for our broker-dealer. Fiona conducts due diligence across a variety of asset classes and types of investment offerings including 1031 exchanges, credit funds, qualified opportunity zones, and various Regulation A and Regulation D offerings. In addition, she attends diligence trips, property tours and conferences nationwide to better connect and learn from others in the alternative investments space. Fiona graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Business Administration with a Finance Concentration.

Jonathan Frame
As our Chief Compliance Officer, Jonathan brings forth over 20 years of experience within the financial services landscape. His background—having worked with multiple firms—provides him with a plethora of specialized skills and aptitudes. Jonathan has served as a CCO, Regional Compliance Manager, and Compliance Supervisor for multiple firms over the course of his decades-long tenure. He holds several FINRA registrations, including his Series 24, 53, 7, and 66.
Chief Compliance OfficerTyler Maca
Tyler helps evaluate DST products along with other alternative investments structures on our platform. At Quincy Wells, he continues working intermittently as a diligence analyst as he completes his undergraduate education at Illinois State University, where he is slated to graduate in the spring of 2027 with a degree in Finance and Accounting. In his free time, Tyler enjoys playing golf and going to the gym.

Nick Sickler
Chief Financial OfficerWith over 25 years of experience in public accounting, Nick manages Quincy Wells’ finance operations and oversees the accounting department. Furthermore, he conducts internal financial compliance for Quincy Wells Capital, our non-issuing broker-dealer. Additionally, his responsibilities include conducting internal, financial compliance for QWC, corporate and individual tax preparation, compliance, planning, and mitigation. He received his BS in Accounting from Purdue University, and subsequently became a member of the Illinois CPA Society. A self-proclaimed “bad golf enthusiast,” Nick also roots for Chicago and Purdue sports.
Tony joined our team in February 2023, where he plays a pivotal role by providing valuable support across multiple critical areas of the firm. Tony has begun to develop his skills and knowledge in alternative investments by assisting the team with the due diligence process. Tony demonstrates exceptional skills in filing commissions, showcasing meticulous attention to detail by serving as an assistant to our AR Manager. Currently pursuing a BBA in Finance at Loyola University Chicago, Tony is slated to graduate in Spring 2026.
